Ajay Prajapati ☁ is a DevOps Technical Lead at NEC Software Solutions (India) with over 11 years of relevant experience in various roles such as support, Linux administrator, Cloud delivery engineer, and DevOps. He is currently working with a product company and his role is to enable the seamless delivery of the product. Ajay works on designing and implementing solutions in areas such as code build, code security, deployments, configuration management, environmental stability, and non-functional requirements for production. Ajay's technical expertise includes microservices (container), Kubernetes, Jenkins and Ansible, Nexus, load balancer (Jetnexus), and databases such as Oracle and Couchbase. He uses Python programming language for automation and has experience working on cloud and on-premises environments such as Oracle Cloud, GCP, AWS, Azure, VMware, and KVM. Ajay is proficient in operating systems such as Windows and Linux. Currently, Ajay is the DevOps Technical Lead at NEC Software Solutions and previously worked as an Associate Technical Lead at Rave Technologies (Mumbai). At Rave Technologies, he managed deployment for Dev, Dev integration, staging, regression, and production. He also managed end-to-end deployment automation, made sure the solutions and design were secure, managed software versions up and infrastructure migrations, and worked on key projects such as containerization of some services, implementation of Kubernetes, automations of config management, blue-green deployment, and migration. Ajay also standardized the build and deployment. Prior to Rave Technologies, Ajay worked as an Assistant Manager - Global Service Delivery at Netmagic Solutions, where he managed implementation, deployment, and migration projects. He also contributed to Cloud projects POC as SME for Openstack, Linux, and DevOps, managed cloud capacity of VCPU, object storage, block storage, public IP address, and bare metals, deployed new cloud platform regions, and automated the Openstack infra deployment using API and Ansible. Ajay has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
